Begonia Masoniana Rock, Live Houseplant Decor in 6" White Pot, Textured Leaves, Easy Botanical Gift, Iron Cross Houseplants, Desk Decor & Gifts, Office Plants & Decorative Plants by Plants for Pets

Begonia masoniana Rock is a delightful, dare we say, rocking cultivar from Vietnam of the popular iron cross begonia. This tabletop gem boasts apple green leaves with a signature, reddish-chocolate cross-shaped marking as well as an identically hued border around each leaf. The foliage is rough-textured and hairy, adding to the distinctive appearance of iron cross begonia plants. The plant especially wows when well lit, allowing the texture and veins to stand out. Stems are hairy too. Begonia masoniana Rock is an excellent, showy addition to any indoor garden or plant collection, especially for those who appreciate unique and eye-catching, texture-heavy foliage. Which is basically everyone, right? The hair-filled houseplant’s compact growth habit and smaller size make it perfect for small spaces. Begonia masoniana Rock prefers bright, indirect light and well-draining, lightly moist soil. Watering should be done when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch, and the plant should be kept in a humid environment. You can increase humidity by using a humidifier or placing the plant on a water-filled pebble tray. If using a mister, don’t mist the leaves directly. Feed with a balanced fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season. PET SAFETY NOTICE: While all Plants for Pets purchases help to support local animal shelters, we offer a variety of popular plants that are toxic to dogs and cats. We encourage you to keep this plant out of reach from curious dogs and cats. Your pet may experience unpleasant side effects if they happen to indulge in a large quantity of this plant.
